    Worked on the Project Mars team around flash technology and the Linux operating system kernel. Researching approaches for implementing drivers in user space while avoiding any performance degradation.

    My second internship focused on more low-level development. I worked with the enclosure firmware team to enable IO queuing for disk drives. My changes were merged into the production code line and are currently being used by a customer, and will be generally available to all customers soon.

    My project was focused on designing a web application to manage documents for the product development lifecycle (Architectural Specs, Design Specs, Functional Specs, Test Plans, etc.) that now processes thousands of updates per day.
